“Out with the old and in with the new” is a motto that many in my generation live by. Personally, I apply this strictly to technology because I don’t think good design comes from buying lots of new things. I love old, repurposed, refurbished, repainted, repaired furniture! This new design series called “Bring It Back” will hopefully make you take a second look at those older items.

Even with a secret love for the rotary dial telephone, I am probably the last person who would advocate bringing back a cord telephone or even the home phone for that matter. I already feel streamlined/overwhelmed with my all powerful, all knowing iPhone and those phones are increasingly inferior in their display of talent. Some of us have a home phone, work phone, personal cell phone, work cell phone and others prefer just the one…. either way you spin it we all use our phones and we use them for one of our favorite past times, gossip *tisk tisk*  We all do it and it would be no fun to rename it the “sit and chat until our ears fall off” bench, and so, I declare (!), bring back the GOSSIP BENCH!

The Gossip Bench:
The perfect place for your cell phone charging station.
The perfect place to sit and write that quick email.
The perfect place to gossip when your cell phone dies and you are forced to stay plugged into the wall or miss out on some huge, developing gossip about your worst enemy.
